If you've read my previous post, you will know that I have not been feeling very well. That has changed for the better and I am now starting to make progress in life again.
During these rough times I re-discovered a game that gave me some kind of safety and meaning during pointless days. The game is called Minecraft. Most of you have probably heard it before, maybe that it is a game with really awful graphics and no real meaning. That it has no real meaning is somewhat true and paradoxically untrue. Minecraft is a sandbox game, where you create the meaning.
So how do you describe the game? Imagine you are a child again, maybe in the school yard's sandbox or at the beach. You are playing with the sand and using your imagination to have fun. Maybe you find some insects to play with, or you start to build a structure.
Minecraft is similar, but far more advanced. It is a game that is very suitable for children, but also for adults. Why? It is both advanced and basic. You need some things to survive; such as a bed to sleep in and some food. But in order to thrive you need to adventure. Minecraft provides you with endless possibilities to find adventures.
The name Minecraft used to explain what you do in the game, you mine for diamonds and craft for new building blocks. However, that is a long time ago, because the creators of the game, Mojang, have flooded the game with good updates.
You are not alone in the game even if you play the single player mode, there are friendly, neutral and hostile mobs in the game who will keep your Minecraft experience exciting. You can make very technologically advanced machines to assist you or to help you produce materials needed for different things. YouTube is a host for very experienced Minecraft players, some of them play together and some of them play in a single player world.

* SciCraft - A community of people who use engineering to create very advanced machines. Can be a great inspiration for your own server or single player Minecraft world.
* HermitCraft - Another community of people who play together. There are some players who create advanced machines to hoard items. The main point of this server is great cooperation in different forms. They play together to have fun and they are a great inspiration for your Minecraft multiplayer server.
* Pixlriffs - A player who enjoys playing Minecraft in the single player mode. Not only a wise and experienced player who can teach you new things about the game, but he also possess a great voice that is nice to your ears.
* Ibxtoycat - Another MInecraft single player with great experience and knowledge of the game.
